Incredible India:

Incredible India.

Ahmedabad, February 27th, 2009.

First of all, and on behalf of my classmates, I would like to extend an endless gratitude to the entire EDI´s staff and specially to Mr Jignasu Yagnik to whom I personally would like to express my sincere admiration for his kindness, availability and commitment towards each one of us during this wonderful time.

Knowledge my friends, has always proven to be the main key towards evolution and success throughout mankind´s history. Likewise, integration has demonstrated that the more united we are, the better results we get.

India, through its authorities, institutions and people has shown us up to what extent the word “generosity” can be applied. We have been granted this special opportunity to broaden our professional skills through the Business Research Methods and Data Analysis course. Personally, I have discovered an immense and rich field of study towards my future aspirations.

Moreover, we have also had the unique chance to understand the huge diversity of such a perseverant and proud country as India is, through its culture, religions, food, languages and sense of respect.

However, we shall not forget that we are now responsible of transmitting the strengths and most beautiful aspects of India as the “foreign ambassadors” we have become.

After almost one and a half month, we all might have contrasted feelings. On the one hand, we feel happy to return to our homes and to communicate our experiences, pictures and souvenirs.

On the other hand, we might feel nostalgic due to the fact that tomorrow most of us will be leaving our home, friends and memories here in India.

I believe that we have all learnt something about India during our stay. As classmates we have shared knowledge during each of our conversations about our roots and different cultures. We have also understood the meaning of integration expressed by true friendship we have been able to build during this time.

Finally, we must feel proud and grateful for the professional and personal experiences we have been allowed to live.

Now, it is our time to be generous. Therefore, I shall ask you all to give a very big warm applause to India and its magnificent people as a sign of huge gratitude for all that has been given to us.

Thank you very much

Incredible India.
